Class Environmental Assessment Process & Schedule

This Project will follow the approved planning process for a Group ‘B’ project under the Ministry of Transportation Class Environmental Assessment for Provincial Transportation Facilities (amended 2000). Alternatives will be generated and evaluated based on technical and environmental factors and in consultation with Indigenous Communities, public, stakeholders, municipalities and government agencies.

Consultation

Meaningful public and stakeholder consultation is a crucial step in this Study. The Project Team has developed a consultation program that will:

  • Provide stakeholders with access to study information
  • Invite stakeholders to provide input and participate in the Project in meaningful ways.
  • Promote a cooperative and productive consultation environment that recognizes the value of dialogue and that everyone may not agree with every decision.
